Mono Ammonium Phosphate
MAP is ideal for planting crops, particularly Brassica’s, and/or using as a phosphate fertiliser on pastures.
MAP is ideal as a phosphate fertiliser where cartage and application costs are high.
MAP is ideal as a Nitrogen Phosphate started fertiliser where conditions are dry. It is significantly more stable than DAP.
Caution When Mixing
MAP is more stable than DAP and can be mixed with fertilisers more easily. Caution must be taken where moisture is present or if the mix is going to be stored for any length of time.
Care must be taken around mixing different fertilisers with different bulk densities for application.
